Day 13 – Strikes, Smiles, and Graduation Day!

Today was a day of celebration — celebrating our progress, our friendships, and the incredible journey we've shared over the past two weeks!

Morning – Bowling Fun! 
We started the day with a favourite leisure activity among Vancouver teenagers — bowling! 

Reflections on Learning 
But today was also a moment to pause and reflect. Our students have grown so much — not just in English proficiency, but in confidence, cultural understanding, and global awareness. We've learned that learning is a lifelong journey, not confined to the classroom. It happens in conversations with host families, in exploring new cities, in making friends from around the world, and in every small moment of curiosity and courage.                       

Graduation Day – Celebrating Our Efforts! 
And then came the moment we'd all been working toward — Graduation Day! Surrounded by teachers, classmates, and new friends from other schools, our students received their certificates with pride and joy. Each smile told a story of late-night study sessions, brave conversations in English, and the determination to grow and strive for a better future.

This graduation isn't just a certificate — it's a testament to the effort, resilience, and heart our Newman family has shown every single day. We are so proud of each and every one of you!
