Day 11 – A Sunday to Remember with Our Host Families 

Today marked our second Sunday with our wonderful host families — and it was every bit as heartwarming as the first!

Language in Real Life 
Living with native English speakers has been an absolute game-changer for our students. From breakfast table conversations to weekend outings, every moment is an opportunity to practise English in real-life situations. Our students have grown more confident, more fluent, and more comfortable with every passing day — all thanks to the patience, warmth, and encouragement of their host families.

A Taste of Home (Away from Home) 
But it's not just about language — it's about culture, connection, and comfort. Our students have been treated to delicious local cuisine, from classic Canadian favourites to family recipes shared with love. Sitting around the dinner table, sharing stories, and experiencing daily life in a Canadian home has made this exchange truly enriching, comfortable, and unforgettable.

More Than Just a Stay — A Family Bond 
These host families have opened their hearts and homes to us, turning strangers into friends and friends into family. The memories created here — the laughter, the conversations, the shared meals — will stay with our students long after they leave Vancouver.               

Today, we are grateful. Today, we are family.
