Profile of Mr. Chris Chan Wai Yin (陳偉賢)
- Entered Newman Catholic College in September 2004 and completed Form 3 in 2008 (partially completed Form 4 before leaving the school).
- Called to the Bar of England and Wales as a Barrister in 2025 (The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, London).
- Called to the Bar of Ireland in 2020.
- Holds a Barrister-at-Law degree from The Honourable Society of King’s Inns, Dublin, and a BA (Hons) in Law with Criminal Justice (2016) from Atlantic Technological University.
- Currently based in Dublin, Ireland.
- Currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel to a major European bank at its headquarters in Dublin, specialising in derivatives and securities financing.
- I am the first person from Hong Kong to qualify as a barrister in Ireland’s history, and I hope to return to Hong Kong in the foreseeable future to advance my legal career.
