Highlights:

This morning, our English Friday Morning Assembly—part of Global Citizen Week—focused on “War, Conflict, and Global Peace.” Students from Class 5E2 took centre stage to share the key ideas behind why wars happen, the real human cost of conflict, and how global situations can affect communities far away, including Hong Kong. Through engaging mini-dramas and role-plays, they presented situations that helped the audience see conflict from different perspectives, encouraged empathy, and highlighted the importance of understanding rather than force. To deepen the discussion, students in the audience and Mr Kan were invited onto the stage to share their views and reflections. The assembly concluded with students reinforcing that young people can contribute to peace through critical thinking, kind communication, peaceful conflict resolution, and supporting others in need.
