This morning's English Friday Morning Assembly celebrated Mathematics Week with the theme "Mathematical Idioms in English: How Numbers Shape Our Language." Students from class 6E3 presented engaging insights into various mathematical idioms, such as "back to square one" and "the whole nine yards," demonstrating how numbers influence our everyday language. The discussions highlighted the importance of clear communication and logical thinking, enriching students' vocabulary and expressive skills. Following the presentations, an exciting math Kahoot game was held, allowing everyone to participate in a fun quiz format. Prizes were awarded to the winners, enhancing the overall festive atmosphere. Through these activities, students learned the value of teamwork, critical thinking, and perseverance, reminding them that mastering language and mathematics can go hand in hand in shaping their futures.
