Highlights:
This morning's assembly focused well wishes into the new year and celebrating Math’s Week at Newman Catholic College. Our student host Cheney from 2D kick started the assembly, with a prayer read by Isobel Mok from 3C. We then had a fantastic weather report presented by Kobe from 2A and Mr Kan. Who both spoke about the possibility of snow in Hong Kong due to the cold weather! We then started our morning exercises, co-led with 2B students David, Jimmy and Yellow and 3A students Karon, Kayden, Ben and George. This was then followed by the math’s week introductory question, which was answered correct by some 1D students and ended with a Math’s Kahoot that was thoroughly enjoyed throughout the room. The hall breathed competitiveness as students played for the chance to win a $100 McDonalds voucher. Everyone tried their hardest but the winner in the end being Evan from 3D.
