Highlights:
This morning's English Friday Morning Assembly focused on the theme "Biliteracy and Trilingualism + Language Switch Challenge," in alignment with Biliteracy and Trilingualism Week. Students from class 6E3 delivered informative presentations on the significance of being biliterate in English and Chinese, as well as trilingual in Cantonese, English, and Putonghua. These skills not only enhance cultural understanding but also open up global communication and job opportunities. Following the presentations, students participated in the engaging Language Switch Challenge, in which they had to blend their language skills and respond to questions in multiple languages. This interactive activity fostered language proficiency and usage. Prizes were awarded to participants, adding to the excitement of the assembly. Key takeaways from the session included the importance of mastering multiple languages for personal growth and for connecting with diverse cultures, empowering students to shape a better future for themselves and their communities.
