Highlights:
This morning’s English Friday assembly, themed “The Dawn of Hope– Religious Week,” was lively presented by Class 5E1 and centred on the uplifting power of hope in our lives and community. Students opened the assembly with a heartfelt group performance, singing “Die with a smile” by Bruno Mars & Lady Gaga, which carried a message of resilience, unity and optimism. Their vocal presentation created a thoughtful atmosphere. After the song, several audience members were invited on stage to share what hope means to them and how it helps them face challenges; their contributions added sincerity and variety to the week. Teacher Ms. Cheung also joined the students in song, lending her voice and encouragement to the whole class and reinforcing the school’s supportive spirit. The assembly concluded with a reminder that hope can be practised daily—through kind actions, perseverance and mutual support—and encouraged everyone to carry the morning’s positive message into the rest of the school day.
