Highlights:
- The morning's assembly themed "SOW: The Week of Gratitude" was a heartwarming celebration of appreciation. All English teachers led lessons on gratitude, encouraging students to reflect on what they are thankful for. Students crafted star-shaped cutouts, writing their messages of appreciation. A select few shared their heartfelt words on stage, showcasing their cutouts. After their presentations, these stars were affixed to the "Galaxy Wall of Gratitude," which are displayed in the school. The assembly aimed to foster a culture of thankfulness while highlighting the positive impact of gratitude on mental health, inspiring students to express their appreciation regularly. Aladdin and Genie took to the stage and discussed how reading can empower us. This responds to the R.E.A.D. principle we emphasised; reading can cultivate resilience, empowerment, appreciation and delight. Our students also took the opportunity to bid farewell and show their gratitude to Ms. Choy and Mr. Luke, who have accompanied our students throughout the years and guide them to enjoy and love English.
