Highlights:

The theme of the week, "Courtesy: Cultural Celebration," focused on promoting understanding and appreciation of different cultures. During the presentation, Non-Chinese students were invited to share their unique cultural traditions, highlighting festivals from Pakistan, the Philippines, and Thailand, such as Eid al-Fitr, Sinulog, and Songkran. Students learned that while cultures may differ in appearance and customs, we all share common values and experiences. The presentation emphasized the importance of fostering a harmonious environment where diversity is celebrated. To reinforce this understanding, the session concluded with multiple-choice questions that tested students' knowledge of the various cultures discussed. This interactive element encouraged students to reflect on the significance of cultural celebrations and their vital role in bringing communities together and preserving cultural heritage. Overall, the event fostered a deeper appreciation for diversity within the school community.
