Highlights:
This morning's assembly about Global Conflict and Global Citizenship. We started off the assembly with a raging book review from our reading ranger Natalie from 2D. We then had students from 3D give us an interesting presentation on how the world famous songs Zombie by the Cranberries, and its relation about war and the struggle for peace. We then talked about global conflict, why it happens, also about the Iran war, and how the Iran war can have an impact on the people in Hong Kong, but also normal civillians around the world. How it is out duty as global citizens to promote peace. This can be first and foremost practiced in the classroom. This was a serious English Friday, discussing the importance of being a global citizen, how everyone has a duty to be a part of it. We finished off with 3 students Aaron From 1D, Jacky and May from 1C talk about what it means to be a global citizen for them. To finish off, we played a song about spreading love and peace called ‘lullaby’.
